Carers' health and wellbeing Your GP

Your GP

Your GP

Make sure you get regular check-ups from your GP. If you've got a symptom you're concerned about, get it checked out quickly. Don't be afraid to ask your GP for a health check. Don't leave it to get worse. Your GP's surgery can provide you with support, advice and information.

There are many services that can support you in your caring role and in looking after your own health, including:

  • occupational therapists
  • physiotherapists
  • continence advisors
  • dieticians
