Care homes

Find out more about the care home

Select a care home of your choice and read the latest Care Inspectorate inspection report. This will tell you what type of care the care home offers and the quality grades it’s been awarded across a range of areas.

The Scottish Government’s National Care Standards for Care Homes for Older People show what to look for when choosing a care home.

Once you choose a suitable care home, you’ll need to get more information about what it provides and check a place is available for you.

Most care homes have their own websites that show what they provide. You can call them for a copy of their brochure, residency agreement and Care Inspectorate inspection report too.
